A familiar voice. A relationship built over time.

THE MAINSTAY PRESENCE

Presence gives your parent a consistent, thoughtful conversation with the same person—someone who remembers, follows up and has the time time to know them beyond the practical details for aging.

• Two calls weekly

• 30 minutes

• 12 weeks

IS PRESENCE RIGHT FOR YOUR FAMILY

Created for real family circumstances.

Presence is not reserved for crisis, illness or a particular age. It is for families who want someone they love to have more meaningful connection now—and to be known more fully while life is still unfolding.

Distance

You live in another city or country and cannot be as present as you would like.

A smaller social world

Retirement, relocation, loss or changing routines have reduced everyday conversation.

Established family roles

You love one another, but parent and child patterns can make certain conversations difficult to begin.

A milestone birthday, retirement, move, or new grandchild has created a natural movement for reflection.

A new chapter

More than logistics

Appointments and practical needs have started taking more of the family’s attention.

A milestone birthday, retirement, move, or new grandchild has created a natural movement for reflection.

Simple curiosity

WHAT IT FEELS LIKE

A conversation—not an assignment.

Your parent does not need to prepare, perform, remember everything or consider themselves a storyteller. Calls begin with what is happening in their life now and follow what genuinely interests them. Familiarity develops naturally because the same founder returns each week remember what was shared before.

Each Conversation is guides by a few simple promises.

01
We arrive curious, never with a rigid questionnaire.

02
We listen for the person, not merely the chronology.

03
We remember, follow up, and allow trust to grow.

04
We respect what they want to share and what they do not.

How a series of calls becomes a genuine relationship.

THE 12-WEEK EXPERIENCE

BEFORE WEEK ONE

A thoughtful introduction

We speak with the family and the participant, answer questions, establish consent, and choose phone or video.

WEEKS 1-3

Comfort and familiarity

Early conversations stay open and east, following the participant’s current life, interests and natural rhythms.

WEEKS 4-10

Continuity and Depth

Shared references emerge. We return to unfinished stores, notice connections and move between present, past and future.

WEEKS 11-12

Reflection and completion

We revisit what matters most and begin shaping selected stores and reflections-with permission-into the family record.

TWO PEOPLE, TWO EXPERIENCES

The family opens to the door. The relationship belongs to them.

Presence is often purchased by an adult child, but it is experienced by the parent. Keeping those roles clear protects dignity, privacy, and trust.

For your parent

A recurring conversation centered on their life, their interests, their memories, and their point of view. They decide what feels comfortable to discuss and what may become part of the finished book.

For your family

The reassurance that someone is showing up consistently—and over time, a deeper understanding of the person you love. You are not assigned prompts, interviews, or weekly homework.

PRIVACY & PERMISSION

Trust comes before documentation.

The participant is never treated as a project.

The relationship and meaningful connection are the purpose of Presence. Documentation grows from the experience—not the other way around.

Sharing is not surveillance.

Before calls begin, everyone understands what remains private, what may be communicated to family, and how concerns outside the services scope are handled.

The book is created with permission.

The participant’s comfort guides what is selected, shaped, and shared. Family access does not mean automatic access to every conversation.

What emerges from being known.

Over time, selected stories, observations, and reflections are thoughtfully edited and designed into a family book. It can hold the past, but also the person they are now—their voice, humor, perspectives, relationships and hopes. This book is meaningful because the relationship came first.
